U-Come
U-GEL is a sterile, water-soluble lubricating gel used to lubricate catheters and other medical devices during urethral procedures such as urethral catheterization, endoscopy, and cystoscopy. It can also be used as a lubricating gel for rectal and colonic applications. The gel's lubricating effect helps prevent trauma between the urethral mucosa and the catheter/other medical devices. This results in patient comfort and minimizes spasticity or discomfort resulting from iatrogenic injury.
How to Use?
There are three different dosage options: 6 ml, 11 ml in the pre-filled syringe, and 12.5 g in the accordion tube. The amount in the syringe is sufficient for the procedure to be used. The syringe is opened by tearing the paper backing from its sterile packaging. Before removing the stopper at the end of the syringe, gently press the stopper to release the plunger and remove the stopper. Place the removed stopper on the open area where you will be applying the product and push the plunger to expel the gel. The anesthetic gel will begin to take effect five minutes after use.
